SummerChildren currently enrolled have first priority with choice of days, incoming siblings and/or alumni families will be next and then we will go to the waitlist. Children enrolling for the School Year Session have priority over new Summer Enrollment. We will continue to enjoy all that Aspen has to offer during the summer months, including swim lessons, the Little Naturalists Program at Hallam Lake, Crafts in the Park, trips to the Maroon Bells, Gondola, Music Tent, as well as area parks and recreation. There will be a eight week calendar posted with daily activities noted. It is IMPERATIVE that the children come prepared daily, as well as ARRIVE BY 9:15 a.m. We will not wait for children to arrive after 9:30 a.m., as our daily activities begin early…Please come early! Playgroup will open at 8:00 am closing at 4:00 pm. The cost to attend Playgroup is $59.00 daily. There is a Summer Activity Fee ($50.00 times the number of days per week your child will attend). Please note that parents will be billed for the entire eight week session in advance. If your child will be away, you may use days paid for on a make-up basis. Please note days your child will be out on the posted calendars. Please have everything LABELED with your child’s name. Please APPLY SUNSCREEN on your child each morning, we will reapply during the course of the day. Each child should have his/her labeled backpack (that they can carry) with a full water bottle, picnic style lunch with utensils (WE CANNOT HEAT FOOD), sun hat, light jacket or sweatshirt. Please label water bottles! Please DO NOT ALLOW your children to bring toys from home. They can get lost or broken & are disruptive. Appropriate footwear is a must. CROCS, FLIP FLOPS AND SANDALS DO NOT WORK! We will be walking, hiking, getting on and off buses. Please make sure that you have well fitting comfortable shoes (tennis shoes or sneakers) ON YOUR CHILD when they come in the morning. This is a safety issue and we are insisting that there are NO exceptions to this request. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to a fun filled safe summer with your children! On Swim Days, please have your child dressed in his/ her swimsuit under their clothes. Send a pair of underwear in their backpacks with a small towel and picnic style lunch.
