Playgroup Aspen is an early childhood education center located in the heart of downtown Aspen. We have been serving the community for nearly 30 years and offer care for children ages 18 months to Kindergarten.

We believe that children learn primarily through play. Playgroup Aspen is committed to offering a nurturing, safe and stimulating program. One devoted to discovery and enhancing self-esteem. We blend nature and the amazing Aspen environment into a constructive playground for the children to foster their innate curiosity and sensitivity. We emphasize positive social interaction in a small group setting. We encourage independence and problem solving. We follow a thematic curriculum throughout the school year and explore and learn from our incredible surroundings all summer long. We encourage self-help skills that allow the children to succeed. Self-esteem and kindness are key elements. Above all, we would like the children to experience a positive, fun, nurturing and safe environment for them to grow, as well as succeed.
