During the summer months, Playgroup Aspen offers a 9 week long Summer Session. Summer Session 2020 runs from June 16th through August 14th, 2020. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

During the summer months, we enjoy all that Aspen has to offer and keep the children very active. This includes trips to the Aspen Historical Society, Hallam Lake, PitCo Library, the Children’s Theater, the Maroon Bells, Gondola Rides, Music Tent, area parks and recreation, and weekly swim lessons at the ARC with their instructors. We transport the children via RFTA or walking. We will also continue to offer fun activities in and around school, including water play, arts & crafts, and our annual bike rodeo! 

 

For the children heading to Kindergarten this fall, I encourage you to explore your options for summer camps. This is a great time to expose your child to new programs where they can meet other children who will be attending Kindergarten with them. I will offer K-Camp if there is enough interest, but it will be dependent upon interest and enrollment. If there are not enough five year olds enrolled, I will not offer K-Camp every day/week. This is determined annually and I will update families via email of my offerings.
